“A lot of people judge Scream and Paranormal Activity for declining in quality as the movies go on, and that they should have stopped while they were ahead. Isn’t it the same as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and Halloween? I think if people remember those franchises, they wouldn’t be so quick to judge - those were classic film series, and they kept getting worse and worse as more movies were made”
The originals were good for their time. Innovative, and the first of their kind. Some of the remakes/sequels were awful, yes. But sometimes it’s fun to watch an awful cheesy slasher movie. The genre as a whole is cheesy. If you go to see a remake/sequel expecting cinematic brilliance, you’re gonna be disappointed.
Finally going to watch Megan is Missing.
I’ve seen about equal amounts of good/bad reviews. And some that say the beginning sucks, but it gets better. So we’ll see…..
